The most requested items that we use to fill our Packs. We list the brands for products that our service members have been specific about. These are what have taken care of their needs the best. WE DO NOT SEND THEM JUNK!!! Donate the funds to purchase these items or play Santa, go shopping, and then send them to us. We'll take care of the rest. Feel free to copy this page.

Our service member is a medic, so that list goes first:

  • Travel pack of  100% cotton tampons (for plugging bullet holes)
  • Unscented baby wipes, with aloe to soothe sun, sand and wind burn
  • Sanitary wipes because toilet paper is not always available on patrols
  • Novelty Bandaids ( favorites are:  Sponge Bob, Marvel comics characters, Disney Princesses )
  • Pure Aloe gel is sent in spring before the sandstorms begin
  • Sunscreen, the highest SPF available              
  • Hand sanitizers, a  travel sized and a large one for refilling the small ones
  • funnel to refill sanitizers 
  • memo  pads, 3x5 sized for making notes regarding patients
  • packs of Bic pens in black ink
  • Eye drops
  • Neosporin ointment and wound spray
  • Sanitaries for female service members
 A Basic Hygiene box comtains:

  • baby wipes with aloe
  • disposable razors
  • full sized antiperspirant
  • Full sized tooth paste
  • manicure set
  • full sized body wash
  • full sized hand sanitizer
  • Sanitaries  (females)
  • Shampoo/ conditioners (females)
  • DenTek  dental picks and scaler set for cleaning weapons.
We finish up the box with any writing supplies that will fit.
Write Home packs contain:
  • writing  tablets
  • a box of envelopes
  • a pack of black ink pens
  • a pack of blank greeting cards, an all ocassion variety, or we send cards they have requested for Holiday's they observe.
We finish the box up with travel sized items from the hygiene list




For Service members' families going through a deployment:
  • we offer prepaid Visa cards
  • prepaid AT&T International phone cards.

The regular Freedom Pack contains  list is:

  • Powered drinks: Tang, Gatorade, Countrytime lemonades
  • Hot Chocolate packets and tea bags for winter months
  • bags/cans of ground or instant coffee
  • beef jerky sticks that are indiviually wrapped
  • pudding variety packs that do not require refrigeration
  • individual serving  boxes of cereals
  • granola bars, protien bars, and / or Power Bars
  • Trail Mix, or assorted nuts in cans
  • Pez Dispensers and refills
  • DVD's of new releases and classics (comedy, action, Disney)
  • books and magazines
  • Travel sized games (  fav are Would You Rather, the sick, twisted version & Cracker Barrel's peg triangle game)
  • writing tablets and envelopes
  • 10 blank greeting card and all ocassion card set
(WE DO NOT SEND SYMPATHY CARDS)  
Holiday cards are sent int time for the troops to write in them & send them home, no matter what Holiday, no matter what Religion is practiced.
 
Hygiene items are also included.

 For the girls' orphanage:

  • pencils and manual sharpeners

  • packs of ruled paper,

  • sketch pads and construction paper

  • colored pencils

  • Novelty band aids

  • hygiene items

  • beanie babies and similar soft toys

  • lg head scarves for the girls

  • small storage containers for girls to store items under their beds

 


One item we NEVER  have enough of is:
 ziplock or hefty one zip bags in gallon and quart sizes, we pack almost everything we send in them.
